RUN THE RES 5K & FUN RUN

EVENT INFORMATION/COURSE DESCRIPTION: RUN THE RES 2025! THIS IS OUR ONLY RUN THIS SCHOOL YEAR!

JOIN US FOR A FREE BREAKFAST TREATS & A BEAUTIFUL 5K COURSE AND FUNRUN!

*8:45am Warm up lead by a surprise guest
*8:45am Kids Fun Run around the Softball Fields
*8:45am 5k Walkers
*9:00am 5k Run

~There will be prizes for ALL Kids Fun Run Participants
~Prizes for the Top 3 Female and Male Finishers
~Prizes for the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female Bridge School Student Finishers
Please consider registering early. The registration fee increases on Tuesday October 1st to $40.00

If you are not able to run or walk please consider volunteering or cheering on our participants. This is going to be a wonderful Bridge community building event!

This event will take place RAIN OR SHINE.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Runners will start on the side of bridge where the playground is located and make a lap around the Res. Runners will come down the path run along the side of Bridge and make a left on Middleby. At the end of Middleby runners will make a right on to Lincoln St. There will be volunteers here to help with cars and crossing. Runners will run to the end of Lincoln St and make a right on to Worthen Rd. Runners will continue on Worthen until Baskin Rd at which point runners will turn around. Runners will continue back a short distance until they come to the bike path at which point runners will turn left onto the bike path and follow the path all the way back to Bridge. There will be volunteers along the route to help runners stay on the course and cross any necessary roads.

The Kids Fun Run will be one lap around the softball fields behind the school. The 5k will start and finish at Bridge School. The course will be the same as the 5k in the fall.

BIB/NUMBER PICK UP:
Bibs will be available to be sent home for those who register before Wednesday October 3rd. There will also be bib pick up on race day starting at 8:00am and stop at 8:50am.
RULES FOR KIDS UNDER 10:
This is not a drop off event. Kids 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult if they are planning on running the 5k course.

POST RACE GATHERING:
Please consider staying after the race to enjoy some light refreshments, food and good company!
