GIVE 'EM THE BIRD 5K RUN / 2K WALK (11TH ANNUAL)

We very excited to be able to hold the 11th Annual Community 5K run/walk (2K walk) to benefit the Easthampton Community Center this year!!.

The money raised by this event has ensured that hundreds of families will have a warm meal during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. Last year's event with your help and the help from our sponsors we raised $35,000 and we hope to raise the same or more again this year.

THIS EVENT IS RAIN OR SHINE!

The 5K run/walk course is a flat to rolling route past the mills and fields of Easthampton, starting and finishing at Millside Park. A course map can be found posted on the main page. The course will be well marked and staffed with volunteers. There is one aid station near mile 2. Approximately half of the course is on the rail trail closed to traffic and half is on rural roads that are open to traffic.

The 2K WALK ONLY starts and finishes at Millside Park the 2K walk will head south on the bike path towards Union Street and turn around BEFORE Union Street. The course will be well marked and staffed with volunteers.

If you would like an event shirt you must sign up before 11/03/25.

The schedule for the morning is as follows (give or take a few minutes):
7:15AM - Day of bib pick up
8:15AM line up for race and pre race ceremony
8:30AM START
Roughly 9:15AM we will start awards ceremony
