Join the community for the annual Wakefield Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in scenic Wakefield, Middlesex! This much-loved Thanksgiving tradition features a spirited 5K race around the beautiful Lake Quannapowitt, perfect for runners of all ages. The event also includes a fun Kids' Fun Run for participants 10 and under, ensuring a festive atmosphere for the whole family. As you lace up your running shoes, enjoy a pre-race warm-up, participate in a lively costume contest, and celebrate the spirit of the season while supporting the Wakefield Memorial High School cross country and track and field programs. Don't forget to bring your reusable water bottles, as the town water truck will be on hand to keep everyone hydrated! Participants registered by October 17th are guaranteed a commemorative shirt, with additional shirts available for those who register by November 12th. Awards will be presented to the top three overall finishers and age group winners. Bib pickup will be available at various times leading up to race day, including on the morning of the event.
