Description
The Upton 10.5K and Half Marathon Trail Race, set in Upton State Forest in Upton, MA, has two races: a 21K (a half marathon with two laps) and a 10.5 K. Runners will navigate single tracks and forest roads. There is about 720 ft of elevation gain per lap. Those who register early will receive TVFR Upton Trail Buff. There are aid stations at the Dean Pond turn and the Park Rd/Loop Rd intersection, spaced roughly every 3 miles.
Post-race festivities will feature fire pits, hot soup, and hot chocolate. Awards include "Custom Made" trophies for the top male and female overall, and age group awards recognize the top three in various categories.
